B-Mo Fit

Brandon first fell in love with fitness at the age of 14 when he was overweight and began P90X. After he completed those 90 days and changed his body, self-image, boosted his confidence, and generated happiness he felt that this is what he wanted to do. He is focused on helping people make the same life changing transition to have enjoyable lives and obtain all the benefits of living healthy, well, and fit. He has continued his training, and developed his own bodyweight based workout routines that he would apply whenever he taught children or adult martial arts classes. He has done all he can to constantly learn more to become a better fitness professional and has received his official personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise. While he is in college at SUNY Cortland studying Exercise Science, he is continuing his studies in fitness by working with a competitive power-lifter, and taking Yoga classes. He is absolutely committed to never stop learning about fitness, and it is his passion to instill this enthusiasm into his clients.

Elderly participants made gains in numbers of pushups performed, trunk flexion, and balance time on 1 foot”- WISCONSIN MEDICAL JOURNAL. A Review of the Effects of Martial Arts Practice on Health. With B-mo Active children get to play fun activity-based games outside or inside, learn about the fundamentals of nutrition, and receive their own personalized bodyweight workout routine designed based on their interests.

B-Mo Focused

Brandon has worked with hundreds of children at the Nokado School of Self Defense for the past 6 years, and for 4 consecutive summers at Ivy League Day Camp. He instituted, created, and instructed a program called "The Martial Arts Club" at Ivy League Day Camp, and brought numerous children to black belt at the Nokado Dojo. In addition to teaching with both enthusiasm and care, he always goes above and beyond to make his students the best they can be.

B-mo Focused: The inability to focus is one of the most pressing issues children face today, which greatly inhibits their performance in school and sports. This Martial Arts program not only enhances their physical skill, but it also teaches children how to focus in a fun confidence-building way.

Dr Marc Allen, Internal Medicine, Adult Blue Belt

“Brandon Morgan has been teaching the martial arts to myself, my wife, and 2 children ages 6 and 8 for several years now. He is absolutely an amazing teacher. He demonstrates a wealth of knowledge that goes beyond just mere memorization of maneuvers. He explains in great detail the specifics of each and every movement. His College education in kinesiology gives him a depth of understanding of how the body can and cannot move that makes him truly stand out from his peers. I have been especially impressed with his ability to maneuver between teaching adults in an intense, focused, and perfectionistic manner and then easily switching to a laid back, fun format that is equally as enjoyable and educational for my children. I am so grateful to study under this true master of the martial arts.”

Soke John Olshlager, 10th Degree Black Belt, Head Instructor of the Nokado School of Self Defense for 37 years

He is an inspirational trainer with good values & morals. His structured classes provide, not only the fun that kids want, but the ability to teach them to be confident, strong and respectful adults. He is a great mentor & has guided my children all the way to Jr. black belt. He is definitely a great role model that any parent should be proud to have as a part of their children's journey!”
